本巻の内容
『法華経』は、大乗仏教の重要な経典の一つであり、わが国でも多くの人々に愛され、読誦されている。
「“ひとつのいのち”と“ひとついのち”の関係を説いているのが妙法蓮華経だ」と主張する講演者の大敬さんは、法華経の最終章である「普賢菩薩勧発品第二十八」をわかりやすく読み解いていく。そして、自分が自分であることに自信を持ち、わが道を歩みながら成長していく生き方を解説する。

＜立花大敬オーディオ・ライブラリーについて＞
1996年、友人に送った≪しあわせ通信≫が人から人へと広がり、やがて書籍として出版される。根強いファンのために、各地で講演会を開催。福岡県で毎月開催されている「元気アップ禅の会」は、1997年から1回も休むことなく続いている。……そんな講演の数々を、ていねいに編集してお届けする。
＜講演者：立花大敬（たちばな・だいけい）＞
1948年大阪生まれ。大阪大学にて生物工学を研究。19歳（大学在学中）で禅に入門。以後、曹洞宗、臨済宗の諸老師に指導を受けてきた。42歳で天命を知る。48歳で≪しあわせ通信≫を開始。著述、講演活動を展開中。「本心庵」から書籍化された『しあわせ通信』シリーズは、一般書店には並べていないにもかかわらず、現在、第十集まで刊行されるほどのロングセラーとなった。ほかに、『劇的に運が良くなるお経 般若心経・延命十句観音経篇』『開運! まいにち神様 大祓詞で最強の「お清め」』（KADOKAWA）、『天界の禅者大いに語る』『悟』『禅』『禅の達人たち』（潮文社）、『大敬詩集』『人生飛行術』『朗読CD版 立花大敬先生 しあわせ通信』（本心庵）がある。
