Narrator is AWFUL

I had to return this book. Couldn’t handle more than 20 minutes listening to it.

no chapters, slow, and narrator terrible

ultimately I know that the author is the authority on this subject, so I really want to have this book. unfortunately, the writing style and structure of the book falls short. it frequently refers to other books for more information, speaks of things that happen much later in the book but assume you at least know the basics of what these are, drones on and on about the same things, really drilling into excessive amount of detail on even the most basic subtopic.

want to skip ahead? want to revisit a previous chapter or section? want to find where you were after going back or forward from the current place? good luck. there are no chapters in this audiobook book. it's just one big long chapter of 8 hours.

And then there is the narrator. A robot voice would have been more interesting than this guy. it sounds like an infomercial voice. The rhythm, tone, timbre etc of the narrator is one of the worst I've heard. it gives me a headache listening to it.

Get to the point

Struggling to get through the intro as is a simple regurgitation of the obvious.
Cant skip to chapters and hard to keep listening to recorded voice
