Publisher's Summary

Not everything believed a biblical truth is truly biblical.

The authors debunk 12 commonly accepted beliefs that cause bondage rather than liberty. They explain how nuggets of truth become cornerstones for error when wrongly understood, and they help build solid scriptural foundations that produce emotional freedom.

Critical

Would you consider the audio edition of 12 'Christian' Beliefs That Can Drive You Crazy to be better than the print version?

Personally I bought the audi version duo to financial possibilities. I consider the print version more personal. If I want to look up something from this book, it's harder to find it on the audio file than in the summary of the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of 12 'Christian' Beliefs That Can Drive You Crazy?

For me, the end of the book( the conclusion) was the most memorable part. The author's humble and honesty that they can also be wrong, or make mistakes made them reliable.

What about Jonathan Petersen’s performance did you like?

Accurate, understandable for foreign English speakers, who's mother tongue is not English, but they have advanced skills.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The authors purpose to be non-denominational.

Any additional comments?

As for me as a hungarian who would like to master English, it helped a lot. And as for a Christian it gave true principles in studying the Bible.

Full of revelation knowledge

I loved this book. I have just finished it for the first time and I am now ready to read it again. I got so much from this book as it relates to my healing. I now know I am not crazy and that therapy is required to help others heal. I only wish I could study with these therapist. the insight was amazing. I am praying my whole family gets healed.

Could Not Finish It

This is just a bunch of filthy rags and 12-step psychobabble. Churches that are in bed with the gov't are murdering people. Please see the movie, "The 13th Step" and the book, "Taken Into Custody" by Stephen Baskerville! Wounds do not need to be touched! All people have to do is know the person who hurt them was not able to be conscious of their sins. And, viola'! No addictions, no more pain. It's gone! You people need to get a life!

Christian Myth Busters

Would you listen to 12 'Christian' Beliefs That Can Drive You Crazy again? Why?

If you find yourself uneasy with some of the ways the Christian church practices the beliefs of the Bible this book would be good for you. The content of this book really makes you think about some of the beliefs you have grown up believing in the church and whether or not they are built on biblical truth. It causes you to question why you believed that way and gives you some biblical insight at how to break this "Crazy Maker."

What was one of the most memorable moments of 12 'Christian' Beliefs That Can Drive You Crazy?

I love the chapter on "the shoulds." So much good stuff in that chapter.

What does Jonathan Petersen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Actually...I was a little dissappointed that John or Henry was not reading the book but Peterson did a nice job with the reading.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Still trying to digest all the truth of this book. Great listen!! Highly recomend it
