そして克己は逮捕され、人生は暗転していく。
一方、児童養護施設で暮らしていた頃に万引きで捕まった過去を持つミチル。
彼女はバイトを掛け持ちしながら必死に一人で生きていたが、コロナ禍の「シーセッション(女性不況)」で仕事を次々に失い、現在は違法メンズエステ店で働いていた。
必死に生きながら、自分の夢の実現を目指す彼女は時折思うことがある。
あの日、捕まっていなければ。
そんな二人が、ある事件を契機に巡り会うことに……。
