◆あらすじ◆
むかしむかし、王様とお妃がありました。
子どもが欲しいと願うふたりに、ある日、女の子が生まれます。
その王女のための祝宴に、国中の妖女（魔法使い）が集められ、贈り物をしていく中、ただ一人その祝宴に呼ばれなかったものが恐ろしい贈り物をするのです。
「王女は錘が刺さって死ぬ」と。
グリム童話集でも「茨姫」として取り上げられ、「眠り姫」「眠れる森の美女」など様々な邦題を持つ、ヨーロッパの古い民話。
