◆あらすじ◆

少年時代の旧友ロデリック・アッシャーから突然の招待を受け、荒涼としたアッシャー家の屋敷にたどり着いた。
神経を病んでいたロデリックが、心を軽くするために、唯一の友人である「私」 に来訪を頼んだのだ。
