本書では旅行で必要な最小限の韓国語を繰り返し耳から覚えます。また、フレーズよりも単語を優先的に覚え、それを12パターンの表現と組み合わせることで幅広い意思表示が可能にすることが本書のもう一つの特徴です。
■ステップ１
ステップ１では、まずは、あいさつ、受け答えを学び、次に旅行でよく使う基本的な動詞・形容詞や名詞、数、日付・時間、お金、単位などの単語をキクタン方式を使って学びます。ここまでの内容を消化することで、「より効果的な」身振り手振り・片言のコミュニケーションが可能になり、韓国旅行が一層楽しいものになります。
■ステップ２
ステップ２では、より具体的に状況別の単語とフレーズを学んでいきます。 まずは汎用性の高い12パターンの表現を学び、次に状況別単語をキクタン方式で学習し、それらと先に学んだ12の表現を組み合わせた実用的なフレーズを学びます。
＊「キクタン方式」とは、音楽のリズムに合わせて読み上げられる単語を、音で聞いて覚える学習方法のこと
