修業を積んだり、研鑽を重ねて能力者として生きていく人もあれば、人知れずごく普通の顔をしながら、その実、持って生まれた力がゆえに人知れず悩み、苦しんでいる人がいるのも見過ごせない現実である。
タクマ君は現在高校三年生、彼は霊感の強い家系の生まれで、本人も自覚できるほど霊感が強い。彼の場合、霊を見たり聞いたりという体験はそれほど多くない。代わりに匂いや霊の感情を鋭敏に感じ取り、まるで自分のことのように、つまりある種の憑依体質のごとく影響するのだという。
そのことが原因で彼は五歳の時に感情を失っている。
そんな彼が小学校六年生で引っ越した家で奇妙な体験をすることになる。
