元の穴を見ると大きな爪跡があり、掘り返してみたが兎は出てこない。
猫に食われたか？別の巣穴を掘り返すと二匹の親兎とさらに小さな七匹の小兎がいた。
しかし、あの二匹の小兎はいなかった。
