＜中島敦（1909-1942）＞
東京生まれ。東京帝大国文科卒。1942年『文学界』に「古譚」の名で「山月記」と「文字禍」が掲載され、文壇デビューとなる。「光と風と夢」で芥川賞候補となり活躍が期待されたが、持病の気管支喘息悪化のため、同年12月4日死去。没後「李陵」は1943年『文学界』に掲載され、中島敦の名声を高めた。代表作は、『山月記』『光と風と夢』『弟子』『李陵』など。
