血風舞い散るガンガルガ要塞攻防戦。
六カ国連合軍と共に魔王軍と戦っていたロメリアだが、魔王軍の反撃により連合軍は敗北。撤退を余儀なくされた。撤退の最中、敵地からの唯一の逃げ道である橋が味方により爆破され、ロメリアをはじめ多くの兵士が敵地に取り残される。その中にはヒュース王子やゼファー、レーリア公女にヘレン王女といった連合軍の王族の姿があった。
ロメリアの活躍により、押し寄せる魔王軍を一時撃退することに成功したが、当のロメリアは負傷し意識を失う。残された兵士達は、ギャミ参謀の魔王軍に包囲され逃げ場はない。ロメリア二十騎士は祈るようにして彼女の回復を待ち続けていた……。
一方、魔王軍の本拠地ローバーンでは、長らく書庫に籠もっていたガリオスがついに動き始める。時を同じくして、ライオネル王国に残っていたアルとレイのもとに手紙が届けられ、二人もロメリアが負傷したことを知る……。
