●『源氏物語』あらすじ

光る君はとても美しく可愛らしい王子で、皆に愛されていました。しかし、不幸なことに母親は光る君が三つの時に倒れて亡くなってしまい、父親である帝もひどく気を落としてしまいましたが、光る君の存在は帝にとっても救いでした。

しかし、それ以上に気を落としていたのは光る君のおばあさんで、娘を亡くしてからは毎日泣き暮らし、孫である光る君のことを案じながら、その三年後に娘の後を追うように亡くなってしまったのでした。それでも光る君は帝の愛情を受けて立派に育ち、学問や礼儀作法だけではなく、楽器や絵画の才能にも恵まれていました。

そして、十二歳になった時には元服して源氏の姓を与えられて、「源氏の君」や「光る源氏の君」とも呼ばれるようになり、徳の高い左大臣の家の婿に迎えられたのです。

こうして、光り輝くような未来が約束された光る君でしたが、その人生は決して穏やかなものでは無かったのです。
