Людмила оказалась в московском СИЗО № 6 и провела там 2 года 7 месяцев. В конечном итоге, суд присяжных признал ее невиновной и вынес оправдательный вердикт. Она вышла на свободу прямо из зала знаменитого Басманного суда.
