Empowering and inspirational
I loved this series - such relevant, interesting topics that have made me really think about my own aging process as well as my attitudes towards others. After listening, I feel strong, empowered and thankful as I stride with pride towards 50. Thank you Melissa and Naima xx

A story about the women's woes
Mostly stories of woes which are not new. The irony is that one example in this book of someone actively helping other women to raise them from suffering is a man. Other examples include women teaching other women how to give energy to negative stories or to cement acknowledgement to sexism, and prejudice towards women by marking their faces or telling their stories. yes acknowledgement and sharing is good, but it facilitates the regurgitation of the same negative stories and energies. It would have been great for the book to focus on active solutions. I'm a woman myself and a frustration I have is our chat about the suffering instead of the chat about positive active solutions to problems.

I really appreciated the breadth and depth of this audio series. Each topic was relevant and encouraging while honouring the diversity found across womanhood.

depression alert
if u weren't feeling depressed and anxious about getting older you most certainly will be after this. glad it was part of free trial and I didn't outlay money to hear how doomed women once they get into their 40s.

My ageing roadmap is now looking good!
It's up to us, the individual, as to how we chart our future roadmap. I am so grateful for Mel and Naima's podcast where they set about to put a voice, ask probing questions and dig deeper into what it means to age as a woman in our modern day society. Yes I'm personally responsible, but it sure makes it easier to charge ahead defining how I want my ageing future to look and feel when I know I'm in good company with these two...and the many incredible women and men they interview throughout this podcast. The topics discussed are necessary and need to be spoken about more, especially with our men folk. The collective change for a better more understanding valued future needs to involve us all. I truly value the elders in my life and languish through the history of my year lived so far...I'm viewing my 50's and beyond through resilient, super tuff glasses, but charging ahead nonetheless that little bit more fortified by this podcast. Thanks.
