I enjoyed this audiobook so much! Kim Mai Guest was a fantastic narrator and performed the voices perfectly. Her male voices were done especially well. I loved the storyline too and I'm hoping the author writes a sequel or some kind of follow-up!

This book was a surprise! I'm not the biggest fan of the crime genre, but Gregory Ashe did a fantastic job here. I love the mutual pining between the two main characters and can't wait to listen to the other books in the series. The narrator did a fantastic job differentiating between the two main characters!

This novel is evocative and will have you thinking about it long after you've finished. I can't get this book out of my head, and the narrator was perfect.

The Binding is one of the most beautiful books I've read and this narrator was perfect. If you're looking for a book that will break your heart, read this. Part 1 is a bit slow because it sets up the worldbuilding, but part 2 and 3 are phenomenal.

A slightly disappointing sequel!

I did enjoy this book but I did have a lot of issues with the main character. She was ... frustrating, I think is the best word. Spends about 450 pages out of this 600 page book complaining, which is 100 pages too long in my opinion. The plot was much slower than in The Poppy War, which wasn't necessarily bad, but coupled with Rin as the main character made this book drag on forever. That being said, the ending was marvellous. I think I'll continue with the rest of the series.

I quite liked this book, however I do think it went on a bit too long. The plot was super interesting at the beginning of the novel, but got a little too convoluted by the end. However, the characters were great and the narrator did a great job.

Oh wow I loved this! This book is so atmospheric and despite the fact that a lot actually happens in it, it feels like a quiet book. I loved the main character and the narrator did a fantastic job.

This book was so interesting and entertaining. It follows a family of Green Bone warriors who use jade to enhance their abilities to protect the country from invaders, but issues between two rival gangs has refocused their attentions. There's so many plot twists and the characters are amazing. Highly recommend!

I went into this book with pretty high expectations and I can say for sure it exceeded them! The story was so riveting and Chakraborty successfully manages to bring an amazing world, inspired by Muslim mythology and history, to life. Nankani's narration was perfection as well and I am desperate to listen to book 2!

Wow, I enjoyed this novel so much! Fidler and Gislason's non-fiction novel is part memoir, part history lesson that makes for one fascinating read. I was so intrigued by Fidler's wonderful portrayal of Icelandic history and how perfectly it is offset by Gislason's amazing story of discovering his past. A must read for any history fan.
