The final chapters are a brilliant summary of the dysfunction that is modern America under Trump and what is now the so-called "Republican Party". However the real strength of this book is the non-partisan analysis of the recent modern history, politics and culture that led to the US becoming the Disunited States. As another author said (I can't remember who) Trump is not only the problem, but a symptom of the problem with modern America. Great journalism and well-written work by Nick Bryant.

The title can be misleading - the principles set out in Og Mandino's classic from the 60s are timeless.

The delivery/performance was not especially motivating however the content, format and structure provided a really good program for mindfulness.

An excellent account of the history of western Europe over the past few hundred years. It provided context and a better understanding of global events and international relationships during my lifetime. A lot of information to absorb but the delivery, anecdotes and storytelling approach brought history to life. One of the best audiobooks I have listened to and will listen to again.
