I love this author! Everyone of these books is a keeper! When I started to collect audio books i was so eager to collect all these and to find them narrated by such PERFECT narrators as Patrick Lawlor and Melanie Ewbank was such a treat! Only now i find that i cannot get hold of anymore as they are unavailable to Australians!! However if you are fortunate enough to be able to download this series DO SO! Lucky YOU! Fantastic characters that you get to revisit in each book, fast plot and fantastic narration - its a winner!

Fact, I am a Robyn Carr fan. I love her work. I am a Virgin River fan and I've greatly enjoyed learning all about this town and its extraordinarily interesting inhabitants.
Being a series lover, I especially enjoy finding one that is populated with vivid characters and a setting that is appealing. Then I just sit back and enjoy each visit. I can highly recommend these books to readers who like an ongoing series that takes the time to allow you to get to know the characters, for they appear again and again, giving us an opportunity to know what their life is now after the happy ending. These are romances, but with a little oomph, drama, and suspense to them. Beautifully written, expertly crafted each and every book is a keeper adding to the richness of the entire series and then you have the narration of Therese Plummer - simply an unbeatable combination.

Series! Series!
You know i love my books in multiples. Its about getting to know your favorite characters more and more every book. Having an opportunity to find out the story of the secondary characters that always capture us but are not the focus of the story. For all these reasons and so many more ... I love series.
I have just discovered Nalini Singh and her Archangel Series and wow what a find. Add to the wonderful depth of the story and the fantastic characters she creates, the fantastic narration by Justine Eyre and its a flawless combination.
I listened to the first three back to back and cannot wait for the next installment.
Highly recommend this series, writer and narrator!!
Cheers :)

Sure it may be very 'Buffy & Spike' but that's not all bad. I liked this book! Loved the story, loved the characters and the concepts of this urban fantasy are awesome. But the big seller is the narrator - one of the best narrators i have ever heard. Ms Gilbert's narration sold me on getting the whole series and I have loved everyone.

He makes every character come to life, captures the nuances of each individual and holds you spellbound till the end. Highly recommend this series and this exceptional narrator!

It was one of Eve Dallas’s earliest takedowns, back in her uniform days. A monster named Isaac McQueen had been abducting young victims and leaving them scarred in both mind and body. Thanks to Eve, he wound up where he belonged, removed from civilized society in Rikers. But he’s not behind bars anymore. After his escape, McQueen has two things in mind. One is to take up where he left off, preying on the young and innocent - when necessary, with the help of a female partner all too willing to be manipulated and to aid and abet his crimes.

Without a doubt this is THE BEST series ever.
The futuristic setting, incredible action, and phenomenal cast of secondary characters made this a series that keeps you coming back for each new installment. The constantly evolving relationship between Eve and Roarke is the highlight of this series for me, but I am as equally as invested in every secondary character that makes up Eve and Rourke's world.
The Narration of Susan Ericksen is so extraordinarily perfect its uncanny, she is Eve Dallas, brings her to life and holds the listener spellbound to the very last word.
The In Death series is not to be missed!

I enjoyed Against the Storm. I particularly enjoyed the narration of Jack Garret! Is it the best audio book i have bought, perhaps not but the story line kept me intrigued, the characters were engaging and i was held to the end. The narrator definitely made this audio book for me. It was worth the credit and i will look for any others in this series that become available.
