Very moreish podcast series. Dan has a knack for keeping his audience on their toes with all things many consider taboo. Not for the closeminded or faint of heart. Great series to learn about sexuality while having a good hearty chuckle!

This brought back fond memories of Terry Pratchett style writing. Fast paced and completely silly. A great listen to take your mind off things stressing you out. Everyone needs a little nonsense in their life!

I really loved the flow of this book. The way the narrator voiced the story have it a true Australian depth. I could really visualise the scenes the author set and the dynamics of a drought affected rural community. The flashbacks of memories long past tied in closely with how the story unfolded. The twists and turns kept me wanting more and the conclusion was very fitting.

I lived less than 5 minutes drive from the murder scene. There are some eerily accurate theories put forward by the author but quite a few pieces of information he missed. Not due to lack of investigation but more to do with talking with the right people at the right time. Officer X is known to me. There are some very good reasons why he's no longer serving in the NT Police force. I'm not on friendly terms with him. Despite the author's conclusion that police were likely incapable of committing such acts, I wholeheartedly beg to differ. Regardless, this series was a thoroughly enjoyable listen. Highly recommended. If the author wishes to reach out, I'm more than willing to talk anonymously.
