This contemporary fairytale, with its cast of appealingly imperfect characters, is quietly enjoyable.
The gentle narrator's voice draws the listener into a journey through interwoven lives to a fitting conclusion.
Reminded me of 'Love Actually' and 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'.

Loved this story of a close Pittwater community but was annoyed by the narrator. Kept hearing Suaan Duncan's gentle tone struggling to be heard under the narrator's forced, jocular tone.
Hoping the sequel has a different storyteller..

Weepie Chick Lit with a fairly predictable storyline but enjoyable nonetheless.
Annoying main female character narrator. A 'working class' British accent and singsong intonation don't do this character justice.
Easy, light listening.

Although parts of the plot were slightly improbable and the ending was a neatly tied bow, I was mostly on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what would happen next in this story.
The narration by Zach Villa was excellent - a well modulated voice, great story telling ability and none of the characterisations grated.
I've listened to many audiobooks and this is the first one I just couldn't put down.
