Enjoyed this as the story kept moving and didn’t have too many flat spots. It is a mix between action book and sci fi story.

The 2 parallel running stories and their progress are both entertaining and addictive. A book I initially felt might be slow and too deep but was wrong, it does keep a good pace and develops great story line. One of better Sci Fi books I have listened to ... so much that I will move straight onto. the next book in series.

First book (Year One) was an enjoyable story but this was better. It kept moving at a good pace and there was not a dull moment. The development of characters is excellent and perfect book for anyone who like fantasy adventures.

Name of Wind seems to be a book that builds towards its sequels. While mainly keeping interesting and building characters it does have slow parts that are dragged out. In general it is well written and has great characters but book 1 does lack a little action. The narrator is excellent and does build the story well.
