Really excellent book.

Her framework for managing difficult scenarios is extremely simple.

I was sick of reading those Silicon Valley books where the author is a saint, and has never made a mistake in their life. Kim details all her learnings from her mistakes, which makes this relatable, as well as practical.

Not a super great audio performance, there are some moments when it’s super clear there’s been a gap in the recording - but I’m being a little nit picky.

Excellent - for all ends of the designer spectrum

Whether you haven’t even heard the term “design thinking”, or you’ve been working in the field for years, you’ll still gain from this book.

Jeanne and Tim layer this book nicely to provide a very clear framework for applying design thinking in any organisation.

I think some clear stand outs include parallels and differences to typical business thinking, and also tips and guidance for common designer fears - these were particularly reassuring.
