It just makes so much more sense than current teaching We really need to work together and embrace and preserve the natural resources we have rather than ride roughshod over everything imposing our tastes and preferences. Australians are the first to complain when migrants don’t embrace Aussie culture about time we did the same... when in Rome.

Touched on so many aspects of life and how society behaves and responds. I would recommend this book to everyone and think it should be on school book lists because it addresses such a wide range of behaviours and would encourage discussion.

This book resonated very strongly with me. Thank you Clementine for being brave enough to write this. This in many many parts has been me. I have been suppressing anger all my life. I no longer feel alone. Thank you. I am sure it will resonate with many others who wonder why they don't fit and why why why the injustice. Everyone should read this book.

Would you try another book written by Anna Romer or narrated by Eloise Oxer?

No

What was most disappointing about Anna Romer’s story?

I couldn't finish listening to it . . . I hate to give up on a book, but I just . . .too many adjectives.

What didn’t you like about Eloise Oxer’s performance?

It was like listening to Marilyn Monroe with Asthma, it was better at 1.5 x speed, I even tried 2x speed . . . too breathy for me

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

This is just not the genre for me, the rest of the book club (who read the book, rather than listen) really enjoyed it.
