This book is well intentioned, which is why I have given it two stars and not one. As a married man with kids, I found this audiobook a waste of 4hrs (I couldn't endure normal speed).

There isn't much substance, ideas or concepts beyond the scope of common sense. While the stories were at times fascinating, they were not an insight to anything of use for me personally.

Without trying to insult anybody (and having all these flaws myself) I think this book would only benefit people who lack significant self awareness, have or have had really messed up relationships or live a life of promiscuity, which they derive no happiness from.

The best of the lot so far! The characters were so fascinating and not all were your stereotypical one dimensional personas you see so often in fantasy. Gripping, moving and enthralling.

I've read several CS LEWIS books, and this must be my favourite one. The storyline and the changes to the original Greek mythology was entertaining, enlightening and filled with so much meaning I must now enter the realm of commentary on the subject.

Wow that was a fun book. Perfect balance of mystery, character development and plot. Didn't even realise that it's part of a series, which makes it all the better. On to the next one

I did not think this book would be so fascinating. As always, Stephan Fry delivered a masterful performance, but the standout is the story itself. Highly recommended.

Excellent writing and performance! The story is very moving and quite an insight into nazi Germany - though from a different perspective. The only blemish is the accordion which is played between chapter's, though it grew on me somewhat, I'd prefer it wasn't there so the story could continue unabated.

An excellent read and again Stephen Fry brings all the characters to life with his performance. Though one can listen to this independent of Mythos, I highly recommend listening to Mythos first as it will make Heroes that much more enthralling.

The book itself was not what I expected it to be, that said, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really brought to life by the performance of Stephen Fry.
