Great story! Suspense was paced very well, characters were richly drawn, relatable and memorable. Will Patton is the best voice performer I've heard on audible! Really wonderful!

Vague spoilers below> I loved portions of this book and the performance is nearly flawless. The character of Marianne is superbly drawn and was a living character for me. Connell however just seemed 2-dimensional. I was frustrated by the complete lack of self-awareness in the main characters and I suppose people like that exist but it made them less relatible and realistic for me. The way they communicated with themselves and eachother reminded me of a Victorian period drama in its level of sophistication. It's been a while since I was their age so I'm going to have a younger friend read it and I'll reserve my final judgement till then. Perhaps also I'm underestimating the modifying influence of mental illness on "normal people"...

The narration is excelent with just the right amount of theatre to deliver the message with power and penteration. The content (often challengingly confronting) is brought together in such a way as to really make you think about the message, almost like a well written and enjoyable essay. It should be standard reading /listening for anyone who has power over another stranger and suggested reading for every adult who wants to have genuine interactions with strangers.

The performances were generally good with Jason Isaacs being an absolute standout! Flawless! Unfortunately the Invisible Man really doesn't suit being read by a woman. Okenedo did a fair job but it distracted me throughout the book. On the whole, very enjoyable.

Loved it. I only wish it was possible for another edition. R.I.P Christopher Hitchens. The interplay of these 4 like-minded but interestingly different intellects is fascinating

All three books were performed very well and Dracula in particular was an excellent performance. The great thing about reading these in audiobook form is that the skill of the actors overcomes the difficulty of reading the archaic prose and provides a smooth, pleasurable and easily digestible experience.
