I liked this book in the beginning. I liked the story, but once the two main characters came together it had a steady decline.
I found it hard to decide if it was the way the narrator was saying, "baby" or it's frequency that made me cringe.
Also, I wanted to roll my eyes when she was a virgin. A virgin who is able to take a "huge" c*#k in the back door with zero prep and a drizzle of olive oil? Come on? That's just lazy writing.
It was indicative of the rest of the book though.
**Soft spoiler below**

Naturally because she was a virgin, I'll give you three guess what she is at the end...
**insert eye roll**

I really tried to listen to this book but I didn't get far because the narration was terrible. Make sure you listen to the sample first. This was my mistake.

I finished this book so I won't be returning it, but it wasn't great. The main female character set back feminism 50 years and the melodrama was frequently hard to swallow.
I liked the Pyramid mystery part of the plot and this was why I think I finished it, but the romance side was cringe worthy.
On a side note, during this entire series I have tensed everytime the "Belgian Sheepdog" was mentioned. The police K9 units use Belgian Malinous, not Blegian sheepdogs. Regardless- I hate the idea of either of these breeds being promoted as pets. THESE ARE NOT PETS! They are extremely high energy dogs that aren't happy sitting at home waiting for people to come home from work.

I chuckled a bit at first so I held out for a while once it started to decline, but I didn't last long.
It became forced and slow- we didn't need multiple, detailed, extended examples of painful first dates to understand the point.
It lost it's humor and I found myself zoning out.
Narration was good.

I enjoyed the story overall, and the narration was good for a female narrator. I couldn't give a 5/5 though for a few reasons.
It was basically the exact layout of the previous book in the series, which was disappointing.
I didn't like the final lie unveil- it was way too melodramatic and built up for what it was. I honestly expected to hear a "Dun-dun-daaah!" at the end of the unveil.
These books also annoy me with their stereotyping of Muslimic people.
Blocking those things out I enjoyed the book overall.

I enjoyed this story very much. I was drawn into the story quickly and there I stayed until it was finished.
The narrator does an excellent job of the numerous characters and handled the very raunchy sex scenes beautifully.

The only drawback on this story was-

****SPOILER ALERT****
In my opinion, the "happily ever after" was layed on a bit thick.
****END SPOILER****

Otherwise, I loved the story.

I very much enjoyed this book for what it was. I wish it had more length and depth, but I purchased the book knowing it was only 5 hours. The narration was excellent and I enjoyed the story while it lasted.

I liked the start of this book and had high hopes, but the story withered and suddenly I wasn't able to overlook the kindergarten teacher reading it to me. I wouldn't recommend.

I read the reviews about the poor narration of this book, but having listened to the sample I thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately I couldn't make it through chapter 4 and will be returning the book.
The narrator sounds like she is in pain when performing the main male character's voice and the overall slow style of reading along with a slow story had me easily distracted and uninterested.
