I kept wanting to listen even though I didn’t particularly like main character. I don’t want to say more as It may be spoiler.

I wasn’t sure whether to get this but decided to give it a go based on reading some sort of comparison to Eleanor Oliphant.. As mentioned it is an easy read but for me no comparison with EO but I got a whole new appreciation for instruments and musicians.

I loved this story from the beginning. The characters seemed very real and relatable as were the highs and lows in their lives. I laughed and cried and was thoroughly entertained. The Irish accent and sayings made it “gas”

For me this book had some good themes but it was a bit slow dragging the strong out. I listened to the last 1/3 at 1.5 speed and was able to finish.

Unfortunately I found this story very boring and the plot lacking. I only continued to listen as I have enjoyed previous books from same author and hoped it might improve

I found this easy to listen to and enjoyed the story. Initially i was hesitant to purchase because other reviewers commented negatively about the narration but for me I found the voice suited the character so it wasn’t an issue

The Eye of the Sheep is one of my favourite stories so I bought this book.
This is a very sad story and the writing style makes it very realistic.

I have loved all of the stories by Liane Moriarty. I enjoyed this story but not to the same level as previous titles. Well worth a read and I will be buying the next book !

I did as another reviewer suggested and was able to listen to Part 1 and Part 2 straight after each other. The story was good and there are some seemingly impossible happenings in the prison but it is fiction !

This book was a beautiful read. It was a book club choice and we all read it and gave 4.5 or 5 out of 5. Would highly recommend it
