Great book to complement learning French

Knowing the basics of French, I still struggle listening to and understanding French spoken at a normal conversational pace. This is such a great book and helps accustom my ears to the spoken language. The short stories are engaging and narrate the common vocabulary used in everyday interactions, which is great, because every sentence is useful. Slowly I am picking up the language listening at normal conversational pace. A great book to have to complement learning French.
