Story
Guided by the great blue dragon Tintaglia, they came from the sea: a Tangle of serpents fighting their way up the Rain Wilds River, the first to make the perilous journey to the cocooning grounds in generations. Many have died along the way. With its acid waters and impenetrable forest, it is a hard place for any to survive.

this is my tenth in the series. started strong. way too much romance now, the story has become a soap opera. I don't think I can struggle through any longer edit: just finished, what a drudge for no reward

Sexist
Reviewed: 11-04-2019
Entertaining but the characters never face any real challenge. Everything just works out with no felt effort. I never felt concerned or worried for the characters and when there could have been suspense the writer ruins it by telling the end result first. His wife starts out as this really strong character who is fine fighting goblins and over the course of the books becomes a blubbering mess, doesn't make any sense. The story doesn't lend to first person feels like the main character is full of himself even though the writer is trying to make him seem humble. The writer is channeling his sexist views through the main character.

John lee ruined Clevain.

John lee is a great narrator but his attempt at an American accent is just awful, please stop. Clevain was British in book 3 bit now apparently he's from Texas and was repeatedly punched in the mouth. It's so bad, whyyyyyy?

Story
According to mythology, mankind used to live in 'The Tranquiline Halls': heaven. But then the Voidbringers assaulted and captured heaven, casting out God and men. Men took root on Roshar, the world of storms, but the Voidbringers followed. The Almighty gave men powerful suits of armor and mystical weapons, the Shardblades. Led by 10 angelic Heralds and 10 orders of knights known as Radiants, mankind finally won (or so the legends say).
