Raw, emotional, and an extremely important topic. Although this book covers serious subject matters, it is down in a way where it doesn't feel like it is exploiting the people mentioned in the book.

A nice little essay about the events that happened

Pro tip: set the speed up higher so the narrator doesn't get tedious and boring.

Gyllenhaal was able to capture the feeling of The Great Gastby without fault. His narration was superb and kept me invested throughout.

A good summary of the various deaths of performers

At times I have the narration almost painful. Besides that, this is a good summary of various different deaths during performances. I liked how each chapter focused on various different types of performances, which added a little more depth. However, if you are expecting in-depth coverage of different deaths of performers onstage, go elsewhere.

Equally gripping and heartbreaking!

This story is great. It was very heart-warming and heart wrenching. The way it was written made me want to continue listening, even though some parts were hard to listen to. Highly recommend.

This book is very informative about the funeral and crematorium industry in the USA, through personal experience. Caitlin has this magical ability to make you engaged in any topic, no matter how 'disturbing' it may be.

Wow.. this story is really impactful. The narration was done really well. It was done by the guy who played him in the movie. Overall, the story is powerful and very insightful. I have seen clips and heard other people's perspectives of Ryan, but hearing his personal thoughts about those situations was not only interesting, but informative as well. Do yourselves all a favour and buy this book.

I highly recommend this book to anyone. The way it is narrated, makes the somewhat heavy content at times engaging. Elton John somehow gives so much passion in his narration, that the book flies by. Overall, I feel as though I have learned a lot.

I firstly want to say that the performances given by Michael Sheen, Taron Egerton and the others were fantastic. Michael Sheen is a phenomenal narrator! With that being said.. Overall, the music was quite jarring and distracting from the story and narration. I did like the added sound effects BUT the music from the musical for some reason took me out of the story half of the time. I think it was the long instrumental parts which felt like it didn't belong (although some of the instrumental parts really helped move the story along). In the end, I can see what they were trying to do.. but it didn't have the pay off.
