Listening to his classes here, in his own voice, is like being a student of his, which is just amazing.
Followed easily enough with a bit of concentration while listening. Wonderful mind, and a life that reflected the gospel in hart and mind.

Found the history of the Iranian Revolution fascinating, as well as the inner turmoil of Soviet Poland. Really enjoyed.

There are so many points in this books where you could have been sure that this book was written in this decade, but just set in that period.

An intelligent, intellectually rigorous examination of why the Christian faith still makes sense in an age of scepticism. As the pastor of an inner-city church in New York City, Timothy Keller has compiled a list of the most frequently voiced doubts sceptics bring to his church as well as the most important reasons for faith. In The Reason for God, he addresses each doubt and explains each reason.

With more than 315,000 print copies sold, this is the story of the church for today’s listeners. Dr. Bruce Shelley makes church history come alive in this classic audiobook that has become not only the first choice of many laypeople and church leaders but the standard text in many college classrooms.

Really enjoyed this. Liked how there were some assesment of things in chapters and that it was bland history, But it felt like a story being told.
Highly recommend.

From the New York Times best-selling author of The Reason for God. In previous books respected New York pastor and best-selling author Timothy Keller has looked at such diverse and topical subjects as the existence of God, our need to do justice, the meaning of Jesus' life, and the human temptation to make idols - all through the twin lenses of a biblical framework and an engagement with contemporary culture.
