when I first began listening and heard the narration in second person, I found it so irritating I almost didn't continue with the book. I'm glad I did though, very twisty and addictive.

Could have been a decent book of the author want trying to shove her extremely leftist views in at every possible chance. Painful!

The most poorly written book I have ever read!

'The Girl Before ' was the most poorly written book I have ever experienced. This was not so much a psychological thriller, so much as the most pathetic piece of "chic lit" I have ever read/listened to.
