Such an original story but I found the narrator so annoying that I bought the actual book and finished it!

Enjoyed this story but finished suddenly and left me with a feeling of dissatisfaction. I felt the writer had written herself into a corner. The rest of the book was great so this was a shame.

What did you like most about Nora Webster?

This novel deals with the helplessness that many women feel with the loss of a partner. I enjoyed the main character's honesty.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I love John Boyne and the audio rendition of this novel had me in fits of laughter and grief stricken by equal measure.

What other book might you compare The Heart's Invisible Furies to, and why?

There are similarities in this book to "the Absolutionist", which I found equally enthralling.

Any additional comments?

The characterisation is superb!

Loved the prose and the twists and turns in the story line, but at times there was just too much unnecessary detail. This book would have been better were it half as long.
