I love Elton John’s music but wouldn’t have called myself a fan of his... before devouring this book! His honesty, humility and self deprecating sense of humour draws you in, I absolutely loved this book and will listen again, highly recommended!

I love David‘s life observations and how he makes the minutiae appear fascinating. His take on gay marriage (chapter 10) particularly resonated... nobody has distilled the issues so clearly, had me cheering in agreement and laughing all the way!
