I'm no stranger to the challenges of Australia's Indigenous communities. This story highlights just some of them. Whilst the story was easy to follow, I often felt more appalled than the reader sounded....perhaps that was his accent. All in all, Australia needs to know abut Bowraville and the injustices occurring in our legal systems.

Highly recommend!

Being from Australia I feel largely untouched by the opioid epidemic. I know it exists but I have barely been exposed particularly to the hurt and trauma family members suffer when their loved one is affected. This was a great eye opener. Read more like a podcast so you felt right there speaking to the various people in the story.

What an adventure!

This was a great find! Recommended by a friend and thoroughly enjoyed. I cried when she killed the goat...as though I was right there with her. So well explained and read. Highly recommend for something different.

Loved it! What a story!

Well read. Listened intently and laughed and cried with the reader. Lots learned (particularly about jail). Thoroughly enjoyed!
