This story is full of waffle, and drawn out unnecessarily. There isn’t enough angst or conflict. The best part comes at the end but it’s a long and boring wait until then. I hope the next one is better

This was the end to a very long series that had far too much going on and was hard and annoying to follow at times. Tijan always has great ideas for plot lines but sometimes they miss the mark. I persevered through all the books hoping for something great but it never came. I found alot of contradictions in the book as well. However the narration was excellent.

This was as an improvement on the last. Good action and solid storyline coming in to focus. Glad the heroine started to get a backbone of her own. Am looking forward to the next instalment

This is a good story and I noted that this one isn’t focussed mainly on the main couple which is different for Tijan. There are lots of elements to the story and it isn’t your normal romance novel. I found it very slow to get to the main parts it was over half way before it got interesting and somethings were over explained while some where under. But the story redeemed itself in the end and I look forward to the next one

As always with Tijan, had the makings of a great plot but there were a number of superficial story threads without much substance that didn’t add value to the overall theme. Also found the main couple to be uninteresting. But it was well narrated.

I enjoyed the storyline and the narrators. It was pretty good but I without giving too much away there could have been more dark moments and I felt Briar gave in too easy all of the time. But a feel good read nonetheless

I enjoyed this book it has a good storyline. Female Narrator was fantastic and did a fantastic job switching into the different voices. The male narrator started off with a southern accent before it disappeared which was strange.

I enjoyed this feel good book. There weren’t any silly misunderstandings or miscommunication between characters. A little bit more angst may have been good but overall this was a lovely mature love story. I enjoyed the narration as well and the woman in particular had good skill in imitating the male voice
