Story
For months, Mitch Rapp has been steadily working his way through a list of men, bullet by bullet. With each kill, the tangled network of monsters responsible for the slaughter of 270 civilians becomes increasingly clear. He is given his next target: a plump Libyan diplomat who is prone to drink and is currently in Paris without a single bodyguard. Rapp finds him completely unprotected and asleep in his bed. With confidence in his well-honed skills and conviction of the man’s guilt, he easily sends a bullet into the man’s skull. But in the split second it takes the bullet to leave the silenced pistol, everything changes.

This book will stay with me for a long time. It was heartbreaking and has opened my eyes to the pain refugees suffer. Of course I always knew this would be the case but when you have characters you become engrossed in their story and feel like you are there with them. I loved hearing about the bees too. Well read by Art and beautifully written Christy!

Story
It's a gorgeous autumn day in Georgetown. The Democratic candidates for president and vice-president of the United States are dutifully glad-handing voters and the media outside a grand estate where a national-security conference has just been held, bringing together the world's greatest minds to discuss the issues that are threatening the country. It's American politicking at its best. That's when all hell breaks loose.

It was my first Vince Flynn book and won’t be my last! George Guidall’s narration was excellent too! Highly recommend...

When this first started I thought I probably wouldn’t get to the end without swapping it but it did get better. The storyline was good. It has turned me off psychologists though. Margot was so frustrating, and broke every rule of patient/practitioner relationships. Once it got interesting I did enjoy it.

Story
Exclusive to Audible! Listen to a discussion between the author and the narrator of The Widow at the end of this recording. We've all seen him: the man - the monster - staring from the front page of every newspaper, accused of a terrible crime. But what about her: the woman who grips his arm on the courtroom stairs - the wife who stands by him? Jean Taylor's life was blissfully ordinary. Nice house, nice husband. Glen was all she'd ever wanted: her Prince Charming.
