i really enjoy the easy banter that two main characters have, it made me want to be in their company and i put up with a story line that involved a clown face killer who leaves threatening dolls were ever he go's because of it but i just couldn't get past the shear lame story line it is really bad...the narrator on the other hand i liked very much.

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

Men,or foke who enjoy the submissive female role that borders on the ridicules .

What will your next listen be?

nothing from this author but the narrator wasn't to bad.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

yes.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Empress’ New Clothes?

it wasn't certain seances that put me of it was the overall tone.

Any additional comments?

This Sam peckinpah inspired snore fest ,where all the Men are huge giant men from another planet where woman are treated like sex slaves (what are the odds) and all the woman taken from earth agent their will ,and yet somehow don't put up any kind of fight.
Don't get me wrong I like good erotica I'm not being a prude , this was just bad ,but it may tickle someones fancy, if " Me Tarzan you Jane" dose it for you this shouldn't disappoint.

Would you consider the audio edition of Fire to be better than the print version?

I haven't read it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fire?

When her fiddle is broken .

Have you listened to any of Emma Powell’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Only Graceling the first book in this sires ,and given it has the same general fell and environment so I don't think that counts. But having said that I would definitely check out the other books she has done.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No I was happy to take it as it came.

Any additional comments?

I didn't like this as much as Graceling I found the pace a little grinding at times , the one windge I would have is that it was a little anti climatic in it's depositing of the bad guys department ,but all in all I enjoyed it .

Hansom,sisterly ,poetry .

What other book might you compare Little Women to, and why?

Maybe Pride and Prejudice ,given it's a book based on sisters with there trials and tribulations.

What does Justine Eyre bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

It's one of those voices you are either going to love or hate ,I must admit I had to get used to it ,but I did quite quickly and now I love it and couldn't imagine it being anybody else.
It suite the period very well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I was quite happy to listen to a couple a of chapters before going to sleep, but that's just me .

Any additional comments?

I thought I knew this story because I watched the movies ,but I didn't have a clue how in dept and wonderful it truly was ,Jo will always be the tomboy queen and she will always have a place in my heart and in my library .
