You might need to understand cricket but nevertheless fantastic book. A study in perfection vs imperfection and public facade hiding horrible truths.

Not my usual genre, but I enjoyed it. Dealt with an interesting side of the subject but I thought quite lightly. I was still captivated. The characters were get believable and well fleshed out.

The book and narration held my attention from beginning to end. The presentation of some very complex scientific facts was perfectly articulated.

What you expect from Neil Gaiman; engaging and beguiling. The myths provide a great insight into Norse culture. Only disappointment is that the myths pale in comparison to Neil's other stories and I was expecting the same level of beauty.
