The reader spoke clearly and was easy to follow. A different view of the life of a soldier in a war zone is outlined . I was interested in the progression of the US forces on a modern battlefield to a, "checklist performance based reporting aimed at giving credibility to the writer whilst masking the reality". The concealing of sex offences by the military was also interesting. A good exposee'. Worth a listen.

How to tell the story of the life of an SAS soldier? Start of with a dubious accusation and imprisonment and then cover the story with flash backs during the imprisonment. It was well read and very entertaining, we were spared most of the gory war details. The drawn out imprisonment was interesting.

The outline plan for the story was potentially good. It was timely and exciting. The writing lacked any new ideas, and a number of previously used lines (in other books by the same author) were reused. Overall disappointing .
