Enjoyable, despite the narration.

Most of the chapters were Trinity’s point of view, narrated by Nya, and he others were divided between four of the sins and narrated by Bobby. It was kind of weird to have multiple viewpoints with the same voice, and then one different. I much preferred Bobby’s narration to Nya’s.

The story itself was pretty steamy, and had a solid plot holding it together.

The story was fine, but I didn’t find it as entertaining as some of Molly Harper’s other books.

I really enjoyed the main character and the magical world, but I found the romance extremely cringy. Mostly because the love interest had 3 traits: vague magical power, access to a giant flying bird, and being really really stern.

ok.

It was fine, but never really sucked me in. I stopped listening with an hour left to go, and don’t know if I’ll finish it.

High school drama with the occasional ghost.

The ghost to hot guy ratio wasn’t high enough to hold my interest. And the character development was basically “hot people are good and like each other, everyone else is bad”.

I never read the end of book 1, but continued the series because I like other books by this author. This one held my attention all the way through, and left me excited for the next one.

The story was entertaining, and I excitedly await the next instalment.

The narration was very good. I kept forgetting it was one person doing all the voices.

Entertaining, but could be better.

I found the story entertaining, but there were quite a few places where I thought “that’s kinda silly” or “that’s a bit of a stretch.”

The narration was fine, although I struggled at times to tell who was speaking. A lot of the male voices were a weird monotone.

Good world, bad characters.

I listened to about 6 hours worth. It was quite creative, and entertaining enough, but the characters all just seemed really dumb (as in unintelligent). They all seemed to be mouthpieces for the author first, and characters second. I felt like I was being constantly spoken down to and occasionally personally insulted. More irritation than it was worth.
