The narration of this book is spectacular and I loved all the sound effects that were added to bring this story to life. The plot was captivating and the writing style is clever and unique. The pacing of the story was good and didn't feel like it dragged and I enjoyed all of the banter and interactions between the characters in this book. This is a book that is well deserving of the hype it gets!! Look forward to listening to the next book.

I didn't really like the narration of the first book but I did like this book (my main issue was with Iseult's voice in the first book). I loved the magic system and the politics now that the 20 year peace truce is over. I absolutely loved all the Iseult and Aeduan scenes. I wasn't really invested in Vivian or Merick's story until half way through the book but then was hooked. I also liked Safi's story but not as much as the first book. I can definitely see this series as a movie franchise and I think that would be amazing!!! Can't wait to read Sightwitch now and then will have to wait for Bloodwitch next year!

This was captivating for the first couple of chapters, loved the banter and the plot was interesting. I just wished it was more brutal and dark like during the first half of the book. Overall it was a pretty good story but it was a bit predictable and therefore not as climactic.

Loved the voice actors for this but the story was just boring. This series could have been made a duology and it would have been more interesting. The ending was unsatisfying and rushed considering this is an almost 700 page book and not much really happened. Nothing really interesting about this book except for Maven.

I have been meaning to start this series for a while now and I can't believe I didn't start it sooner. I don't have anything major to say to critique but maybe a little more world building would have been useful at the beginning. Other than that I loved the characters, the story plot and the writing style. The narrator was FANTASTIC! She brought the story to life and made it engaging and hightened the suspension. I'm a little sad that she didn't narrate the other books as I like consistency with my series.

Enjoyed this book a lot! Don't have anything negative to say. I love the plot, character development, world building and it's beautifully written. Narrator was also interesting and easy to distinguish between different characters. Definitely a new favourite book, look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Beautifully written and original storyline. I loved the characters, the humour, the world setting and the constant angst in the first two books. I did enjoy and appreciate Dreams of Gods and Monsters, but it was not as epic and gut-wrenching as the first two books. I really wanted to love this book but it just didn't amaze me and felt it could have had more potential. I did however like the ending to this series, it's just a shame I wasn't as invested in this book as the others.

It was lovely to be able experience this beautiful world that Mary E Pearson created in the Remnant Chronicles. I loved the story line but it felt rushed and would have done the story justice if it was a novel and not a novella.
