Great extension of Pride and Prejudice. Often these novels are fairly awful but this is the exception to the rule. Thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to more work by Ms Hadlow.

If you’re a lover of Georgette Heyer you might struggle with these abridged versions, as so much of the fun and frivolity has been cut out.
Many of the performances are not the greatest either.

Another fun “Weaver” story. Hope the author keeps the series going, though I feel with the epilogue we may have come to an end of the Brundy family adventures.

Another mad-capped adventure for Lady H and Flo. Completely ridiculous but thoroughly enjoyable.

I couldn’t get past the first chapter as the voice over was utterly unbearable! Don’t waste your time or money on this one!

Completely ridiculous storyline but it’s rather a sweet story for all of that. And unlike many Livingston Hill books it’s not loaded with religious zeal.

Not as good as the first in the series. This one was frustratingly slow and seemed to drag on and on.
Quite a disappointment as I enjoyed the first book quite a lot

While well written and narrated, this is quite a dark historical mystery, dealing in child prostitution and rape, poverty, violence and women’s rights. It’s a good book but not if you’re looking for a little escapism!

Story was reasonably good but there were quite a few issues with the narration that could have been avoided with a little editing.
