Absolutely loved this book. Listened on audio and Todd McLaren (narrator) does an excellent job. Very sexy voice. This novel by Diana Palmer has all the normal attributes of a typical DP book. Older experienced rich good looking hero. Young heroine (16 years). Loved the hero but he pushed her away due to age difference and he doesn’t trust women because of previous bad experience and of course his mother who left his older father for a younger man. Entering the story is hero’s sister who is best friends with heroine. Heroine enters a marriage with cousin of hero who mistreats her and abuses her. He’s one sick puppy. He has the good grace to kill himself in a car accident while drunk. The story starts at his funeral where the hero believes the very worst of Corrie. Do yourself a favor and read.

I listened to my first audible recording of this author being The MacKinnon’s Bride. Brilliant story and very funny in parts. Iain is The MacKinnon and Page his captured prize. There are delightful characters in the book particularly Malcolm. The narration is great especially the part of Iain. Sometimes Page is hard to listen to. Now Lyon’s Gift which is the second book in the series was very disappointing. Piers who takes Meghan is a Englishman placed in the highlands by King David of Scotia to keep the peace. He is an honorable man but Page was just crazy. Her character is off beam for most of the book and she is extremely childish. There is a couple of scorching love scenes which liven the story for me. Now the narration was absolutely terrible. I probably would have enjoyed reading instead of listening

I really like the series of books by Maya Banks being about Devon in this story, Rafe and Ryan. I have still to listen to Cam’s book which is also related. The story about Ash and Devon was wonderful. She was innocent and bright whilst Devon was more older and set in his ways. He was very protective of her and the love scenes were very tender but very exciting. I don’t always enjoy listening to a male narrator but Harry Berkeley does a wonderful recorded book with just the right nuances between the characters. Well done

What a wonderful story. Clare Connolly is a fantastic author. I particularly enjoyed the fact that Audible was able to be used for this book. Chloe was brave and honourable and Rafiq played the part of a proud and fierce sheikh. Magical. The narration by Meghan Kelly was first class

I absolutely loved listening to this story. Penny Jordan is such a wonderful author and the narration was fantastic. The story resolved totally around the two main characters and I liked the fact that there were not too many characters to take away from Lizzie and Iliones. He was fighting a losing battle to hold Lizzie at bay from stealing into his heart when he was equally determined to keep her at a distance. Loved loved this book. Can't wait to hear the next one.
