This book changed the way I think as a woman, a wife, a mother and a member of society. Michelle’s narration was spot on and her story was both well written, funny and inspiring. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. In 1945, former combat nurse Claire Randall returns from World War II and joins her husband for a second honeymoon. But their blissful reunion is shattered....

I have read too many books to count in my life so far yet this book remains my very firm favourite. The characters are relatable and colourful, the storyline rich and intriguing. The whole book is borderline addictive and I still struggle to put it down after I start. I find the Audible version to be just as enjoyable as the real book, if not more so courtesy of the wonderful accents.

Dragonfly In Amber is the second book in the Outlander series and is a brilliant continuation of the story of Claire and Jamie. I have completely fallen in love with the rich story and the Audible version is a wonderful way of enjoying their story while driving and exercising.
