At the end of where I got to, It felt like they'd just seen another book and copied sections while trying to make it different but lazily, I got through the first and tried the second thinking it might get better but returned it. For me there's just too much lacking in over all plot development nothing really actually happens and when it does it's not that fulfilling there is no depth compared to everything else that is out there. Cool that some people like it, but I would reccomend looking elsewhere.

I like the premise, what I dislike is that so far its one quest per book it seems so far which isn't bad but it feels like they fill in details to slow the book down to ensure they don't do too much. I like usually main OP but in this particular book the mechanism in building up the main character OP, spoiler it is literally do nothing just he saw something or thinks something and it worked instead of maybe understanding a book cause he's found a few at this point but done nothing with them... it may improve in later books but ill finish here.

The narration is great and the story isn't bad and im glad people like it. But for me I feel like this series could go on forever. The reason why I dropped this series is the mc progress is so slow and they build up his status dungeon lord as having "power" but in reality it hasn't done anything to make him worthy of being all mighty and powerful or even mildly better than anyone to not be killed.

For me the premise of him being this high level character is laughable, you are given a small back story of his intellectual ability which is how he achieved his success but as the series progresses it doesn't match up his actions, skill or supposed intelligence which is fustrating. However despite this if you look past this the first and second books set this up nicely I didn't mind this book in sections some bits are just there to move the story and felt like fillers in others I felt compelled to finish all three after starting but was a little disappointed with the ending, it felt rushed maybe to try and squeeze out more? consolation for me is that it does allow you to leave at book 3 if they decide to keep going...

For me the narration was meh it did get better but it was a struggle through the first book or maybe I got used to it.. The storyline was promising but then it suddenly rushed ahead... not enough development for me, im all for OP MC but this was a bit much... There are more novels so maybe they get better?? I won't know though as im done with these....

I can agree that the language used in the sexual scenes could have been written better that being said it wasn't enough to put me off listening to the whole series, I thought the story developed well I liked the overall set up definitely some predictable moments but a good listen and the narration great!

I used this for on the road as a long read, it starts well but I struggled to get through the whole thing. A lot of needless details on things and found myself skipping sections, to which I found there was actually no detriment to the story and I could still work out what was going on. I was expecting a twist at the end or something to make me go back and listen to the bits I skipped but that didnt happen. I am glad some people enjoyed it though.
