It's refreshing to read such a fast paced series. I love fantasy, and in all my readings I have never read stories with so much constant action as I find in these.

Presented similarly to The Name Of The Wind, I found this book had grasped my attention a few minutes it. The characters are gripping, the acting intense and often. I look forward to the next

The melding of Eragons brothers travels into the story made this book far more enjoyable than it would have been. I wish the author had not had such an addiction to premonitions in these books. I feel every powerful character he meets or time He sleeps introduces a premonition as if the author can't wait to tell you what will happen later. This aside this book had some great moments.

True Fantasy. but young author.

If you love Lord of the Rings and true elves dwarves dragons fantasy you will enjoy this. The author was very young when he wrote it and it tells. The narrator does a good job, however his voicing of the dragon is not great and at points Eragon comes through as whiney.

It can be hard to flip to Jadirs side of the story, but this opened the world and view of Arlen bales and events in a different light. excellent book

I first read this on a whim at an airport to get me through a long flight and ever since has been one of my favourite series books leading to one of my favourite series. The characters, world, and magic are gripping. Colin does a great job with the characters and accents. I find setting the speed to 1.15 suits him well

I was hooked on the painted man, and it felt great to give Arlen's story an ending. It's a nice close to the series but emotional for sure. Colin has a bit of a slow pace which I found was solved by increasing the speed to 1.15 His voices are great though, well done to author and narrator.

Thoroughly enjoyed this, even after reading the hard copy 2 times prior. My only qualm is that the Narator voiced some characters as old as 30s to sound more like a 50 yo. Still a great experience
