Story
On Easter Sunday 2015, experienced skydiver Victoria Cilliers undertook a parachute jump, a gift from her husband, British Army Sergeant Emile Cilliers. Her parachutes failed to open and she plummeted 4,000 feet to the ground, sustaining life-threatening injuries. Miraculously, she survived. Then the police arrived at her door. Someone had tampered with her parachute, and they suspected Emile.

It was a little hard to get into . Whether it was the narrator or the story - not sure , but I persisted and finally liked the outcome .

Wildflower is a portrait of Drew's life in stories as she looks back on the adventures, challenges and incredible experiences of her earlier years. It includes tales of living on her own at 14 (and how laundry may have saved her life), getting stuck in a gas station overhang on a cross country road trip, saying good-bye to her father in a way only he could have understood and many more adventures and lessons that have led her to the successful, happy, and healthy place she is today.

Drew’s life written and performed by her was truly entertaining. She is animated on steroids . Her memoir is like no other , her written words are intelligent and wild and she doesn’t hold back and nor will you with laughter in parts . Worth it for sure !

Story
A wryly funny and moving account of an extraordinary life lived almost entirely in the public eye.
Teen idol at 15, international icon and founder of the Brat Pack at 20, and one of Hollywood's top stars to this day, Rob Lowe chronicles his experiences as a painfully misunderstood child actor in Ohio uprooted to the wild counterculture of mid-1970s Malibu, where he embarked on his unrelenting pursuit of a career in Hollywood.

My teenage heartthrob

Rob is deeper than I imagined . His passion for his craft and his family is told unapologetically. With great detail he speaks of his life from the very beginning and although the start is not that engaging , it becomes more so in later chapters. Well done Rob
