The story could easily have been cliche but instead it was original with twists and turns. Really enjoyed it.

Classic Stuart MacBride. Great, fun read. Loved the narration too. Perfect combination. Hope there are more stand alone books like this to come.

I really didn't initially warm to this book. Thought it rather the throwaway read especially as I found the female protagonist slightly annoying.

But the characters developed quickly and beautifully. The story was original and before I knew it, I was hooked.

I actually remember thinking "this Galbraith chap has talent!" before I realized who it really was.

Looking forward to the next book already

Still love Logan

And what's happened since the last book seems plausible and fair

That said, it seems Logan's life may be going in a new direction I'm not sure I like...

It's not gonna stop me from getting the next book right now... But it does give me pause.

Best narration ever!

I wasn't sure what narration from the author himself would be like but it was fantastic - animated, different accents, hilarious.

It gave an insight into how he thought his characters would really sound and behave!

Good storyline also. Thoroughly enjoyed this and have already bought the next (and last book) he both authored and narrated.

I love my suspense novels and I'm enjoying Scandinavian literature

This novel did have a few good twists to it but overall, wasn't quite my style.

Ms Gubbins' narration brought the book to life.
