When Erik and Rugrat entered the ten realms they didn’t know what was going on. They only knew that they had contracted the two week curse. When entering the second realm they came to understand their character sheets, and part of the system that is called the ten realms. A place that the strong make the rules and the weak cling to them for protection and hope that they might be left in peace. They passed through the trials of the Beast Mountain Dungeon, taking control of it and becoming the leader of nearly 200 people.

The only downside is that the narrator made all the girls sound mentally handicapped, is sounded like they have bad Grammer and it was honestly very annoying. I liked the book and bonus points for not being 10 hour long, wouldn't have bought it if it was short

Drew Michalik was working in a top-secret facility in Washington, DC, when the Advent began. As all electronics in the world simply ceased to work, blue screens filled with information appeared before him. Drew was given access to a mana interface and a limited number of reality-altering crystals called Xatherite. Following the instructions on his vision-impairing screens, he "slotted" his Xatherite and changed his fate: He gained the ability to cast spells. Now alone in the dark, he must battle through the government bunker turned dungeon in a desperate bid for survival.

The plot is mediocre, most characters are unlikable,
The powers are supposed to sound all great and mighty but comes out somewhat lacking.
But it's all expected in a low grade YA,
the thing that really grinds my gears is that there is at least 25 minutes spread out over like SIX part of completely mechanical "congratulations sub lieutenant you gained a skil: boring to death, congratulations sub lieutenant you gained a skill: how much more, congratulations sub lieutenant you gained a skill: end it all please"
It was SO Bad I had to skip forword and not know which skills he had, and guess what? I was fine.

Eric - or King Halar, or Vlad, or any number of aliases - doesn't want to be bothered. It's hard to pin down what he does want, if anything. He lives a quiet life, almost a solitary one, mourning in his own way for the loss of someone dear. His quiet solitude can't go on forever. Despite the empty places inside him, events and creatures move through the worlds and across the void between, forcing him into action, into fighting, into confronting things perhaps better left alone...even forcing him into being a King.

okay, first of all you should know that the first *seven hours* are build up, straight up boring...
the in-game experience was very underwhelming even if you didn't have the build up, I get it the game world is realistic, no need to go on and on and on about how the grass is moist and sky is blue...
why the hell is the elf girl so one dimensional, you could summaries her completely by three words; dumb horny maid. and apparently all of the elves are like her, a fucking template...
no character development what so ever for anyone except for the MC, and even then it's only minor.
the only savings grace is the narrator, he did an excellent job and was the main reason I kept on listening

Men took root on Roshar, the world of storms, but the Voidbringers followed. The Almighty gave men powerful suits of armor and mystical weapons, the Shardblades. Led by 10 angelic Heralds and 10 orders of knights known as Radiants, mankind finally won (or so the legends say).

at first the book is quite hard to swallow, I felt disoriented, but as the story continued and we were given slite hints the picture grew clearer,
it's a fantastic book!
I recommend it only to the people who are willing to insert themselves into a harsh unforgiving world, but the sparks of light and dark humour through the dark times are simply invigorating!
about half way through the book I realized that I can't stop! I found myself listening to it throughout the entire three days it took me to finish the second half!
admittedly it has a slow start but I promise you, ITS WORTH THE WAIT.
happy listening! :)
