Thoroughly enjoyed this book. First time reading so I didn't know what to expect. The book does an excellent job at growing with it's protagonist. As little as writing, "Progress Reports" instead of "Chapters", adds to the feeling of going on the journey with its protagonist. I could go on about this book however just highly recommend readers read it for themself.

An excellent Listen. Loved the pacing of this book. It's highs and lows scattered throughout. Intense battles contrasting the peaceful time of New Zealand. Allowing it's audience to see the growth of its characters, seeing the shifts over time in a slow realistic manner. Having so many characters, it is hard to flesh them all out. This book does an exceptional Job at seperating the individual from the soldier. Some parts wouldn't be seen as contextually appropriate if written in todays society; This is just a marginalised aspect. Overall I'd gladly reccomend to any Pacific WW2 enthusiast.

A childhood favourite of mine, an underrated Australian Classic from the fantastical mind of Emily Rodda. The Only qualms I have is the music between chapters (or sometimes just between paragraphs) is inconsistent in its digital audio form. The story and Rachel Blakes crafty voicework makes this a high recommendation in my books.

A classic coming of age film with clear influences from Dead Poet's Society and The Catcher in the Rye. It's structured letter formula makes the audience empathize with Charlie on a more personal level than a "play by play" would. I'd continue this train of thought, however I think I should go "Participate".

Performance: The subtle accents he places on characters matches perfectly in a way that doesn't ever feel intrusive to the listener. Story: Going into it I knew it was based on one of my favourite books so with all bias aside I still thoroughly enjoy this almost 100 year old piece of literature. Relistening to it this time I realise how import the structure of this novel is. You find out key information in a scattered structure, this works in the novels favour by further placing them inside the mind of the protagonist. Overall: Highly Recommend
